Sending Outbound Text Messages (SMS)

Customers with SMS-enabled and activated phone numbers can send text messages directly from Dixa.

To learn how to set up text messaging, check out this article.

To compose an outbound text message, navigate to the top right action bar, and click on the SMS icon (represented by a text bubble).

A modal will appear allowing you to:

  • Select a From and To phone number

  • Write the text message (up to 1600 characters, or 10 text messages)

  • Assign the text message to a queue (mandatory)

  • Add tags

  • Add an internal note

Please note we do not currently support adding attachments or images (MMS) and templates. MMS is only supported on inbound messages from US and Canadian phone numbers.
