Outgoing Caller ID is the phone number that is displayed when you call someone. In Dixa you can set this yourself:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Go to Phone.
  3. Click on Add Outgoing Caller ID.
  4. Enter the number you want to verify as an outgoing number.
If you require any keypad selections to get through an IVR menu to confirm the phone number, you can enter the necessary selections under Extension.
  5. Wait for the confirmation call and enter the six digit code shown in the Dixa interface.
  6. The phone number can now be selected as your caller ID when making calls from Dixa.

If you have added an outgoing caller ID to Dixa using a number that is not one you've bought through Dixa, and you want to answer incoming calls to that number in Dixa, you will need to forward incoming calls to a phone number that is verified, in Dixa, for incoming calls.
